Mother’s day is just around the corner, and we are all geared up to celebrate moms! While this day gets celebrated all across the globe, we think not a lot of people know about its origins.

Mother’s day was instituted as a holiday in May 1914 due to the efforts of a woman called Anna Jarvis who pushed for 7 years for a national holiday to celebrate and honor mothers after her own mother died. It is now celebrated on the second Sunday of May.

It goes without saying that your mom is one of the most important people in your life, and we’re willing to bet that that’s what makes it so hard to find the right thing for her. You want to find something she’ll use but you also want it to have a sentimental spin. But overthinking only makes the whole process harder… and before you know it, it’ll be the day before Mother’s Day and you’ll still be empty-handed (now that’s stressful!).

So, we’ve put together a list of gifting ideas to help you out this year. Check this list out, put your favorites in your shopping cart, wait for the gifts to show up on your doorstep, wrap them in a pretty bow, and watch as mom opens them with awe. Consider this to be the easiest and most successful Mother’s Day yet. (you can thank us later!)

1. Photo frames

Photo frames are the number one item on our list because when you personalize them by adding a picture of you and your mom, it becomes something both of you can cherish for a long time. Our golden frames are ideal for your golden memories.

2. Bedsheets and cushions

Because of all the hard-work they put in, our moms deserve to be pampered! Indulge your mom by refreshing the look of her space with some new cushions and bed linen.

3. Cups

If your mumma likes caffeine – then cups make a great gift. Espresso your love for your mom with our stunning ceramic cups!

4. A day at the spa

I think we can all safely agree on the fact that we’ve all given our moms their fair share of stress (god knows we have!). Well, we think it’s a great idea to reverse some damage by gifting her a nice spa-cation!

5. An indulgent TLC experience

Making mother’s day special does not always have to mean spending a bomb on a gift. The little things matter too (often, more). Surprise your mom with a stay-at-home treat. Cook her favorite meal (doing the dishes, is an added bonus!), play her favorite movie, get her favorite flowers, and just spend some quality time with her.
